The coolest restaurant on Club St.【#16 Singapore Recommended Restaurant "Le Bon Funk"】

Today I would like to introduce “Le Bon Funk” located on Club St., where many of Chinatown’s trendy restaurants and bars are located.

General Review

It is a very stylish European restaurant. It is crowded with many Europeans.

It is a restaurant that can be used for multiple purposes, from bar-like use centered on drinks to dining.

The food is a bit pricey compared to the amount of dishes, perhaps due to the bar aspect of the restaurant. However, the atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice, and I think it would be cool to know such a restaurant 😀.

I highly recommend this restaurant for use as a date, girls’ night out, anniversary, etc!

Atmosphere

This time I visited the one on Club St. It seems that there is also a store in Holland Village.

Here is the appearance of the restaurant.

There is counter seating on the front side and table seating on the back side. The area facing the street is also a bar counter, which looks very nice for having drinks in an open atmosphere.

The interior of the restaurant is a little dimly lit and has a very nice atmosphere. As the name of the restaurant suggests, Funk Music is playing comfortably. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

Food

This is a compact and simple A5 size menu chart. You can see the good taste from this.

First, I ordered a beer, Lager or IPA, and I started with Lager, a New Zealand craft beer called Garage Project Beer. It is a New Zealand craft beer called Garage Project Beer.

I finished it in no time, so I quickly ordered a second beer. This time I decided on an IPA, Evil Twin IPA, a craft beer from NYC.

The beer can design is very stylish. This beer was also very smooth and refreshing, different from the heavy image of IPA.

Then I ordered our meals. Today I ordered these two dishes. The first is an appetizer, Zucchini Flowers.

The zucchini tip? The zucchini is served with the sauce. It is very rich and delicious. It is like a French dish. The combination with almonds is perfect.

Here is another dish, WAGYU Tartare.

The Tartare is beautifully arranged on the plate. It is served stirred with eggs. The red color is a chili sauce, which can be added to change the taste of the tartare. The meat is very fresh and goes well with alcohol.

To finish off the meal, I ordered a glass of orange wine. I love orange wine because it makes me feel a little rich.

I felt that the food was a bit expensive because the portions were not that large. The drinks are good, so I think this is about the same as I would expect.
